As you probably already figured out, I’m a huge supporter of locally owned, independent bookstores. FoxTale Book Shoppe in Woodstock, Georgia, has been supportive of my work since the first Lightbearers book was published, and The Blue Giraffe in Watercolor, Florida, joined The Lightbearers community with the second book, Found.
While it thrills me to no end to see actual copies of my books in the hands of readers, or on shelves or coffee tables in unexpected places, I also understand that many readers prefer electronic versions for a variety of reasons (easier to carry, always have it with you, etc.), so the first four books in the AFFIRMATION series is now available on Kindle!
Of course, it is my hope that you’ll love it so much that you want a signed copy to keep in your collection. In that case, please contact your local independent bookseller and ask them to order a copy for you. I’ll have bookplates available later this year that I can send to you to affix to your paperback versions.
Book 5 (REUNION) is more than half finished, and there are some fun Lightbearers-AFFIRMATION surprises in store in 2016.
Are you reading The Lightbearers? Have you recommended it to a friend?
Please remember to SUPPORT YOUR INDIE BOOKSTORES FIRST when ordering your copy. If you don’t have a local indie, copies are available online at Barnes&Noble.com and Amazon.com, or through the publisher, Black Rose Writing.
I’d love to know who your favorite character is, and how you have connected with the story. Please leave your comments below (Yes, I read ALL of them!)
Thanks, as always, to the wonderful folks at FoxTale Book Shoppe – Ellen, Jackie & Karen – for their support of The Lighbearers series. They host a great party, and Lightbearers fans from near and far gathered for the Official … Continue reading →

The wait is almost over for “The Lighbearers: Found,” the second installment in the popular Lightbearers series about mild-mannered accountant Cara Porter and the growing community of individuals who are discovering that their true calling lies in their identity as “Lightbearers.”
Our wonderful publisher, Black Rose Writing, is releasing the book on Thursday, February 21, 2013.
The “Official Launch Party” will be held a few short weeks later – on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 6 p.m., hosted by my favorite local Indie, FoxTale Book Shoppe in Woodstock, Georgia.
I hope you’ll be able to join us – there will be books, wine, cake – and a plethora of Lightbearers… What more could you ask for?
If you want to pre-order your book through your independent local booksellers, please share the ISBN number 978-1-61296-173-6. As you know, I encourage everyone to support their local independent booksellers, and I welcome you to share your comments about your relationship with a special “Indie.”
“Dragon wings are one way to soar; embracing our role in the Universe is another…”
Embrace your gifts, shine your light – see you on March 15!

We are excited to announce that the release date for the second book in the series, “The Lightbearers: Found,” is February 21, 2013!
For those of you who study numerology, this is an auspicious date. 2/21/2013 “boils down” to 11, which the author considers her “angel hug” number, or one that is filled with opportunity and joy.
One of just three “Master Numbers” (the others being 22 and 33), the qualities of the number 11 include inspiration and spirituality, two central themes for the characters in The Lightbearers novels.
If you have “met” Cara Porter, you’ll remember that she doesn’t believe in coincidence; she prefers to call it “serendipity” – stumbling upon something that has deep meaning in your life, even though you weren’t looking for it.
We hope you will see fit to “stumble upon” The Lightbearers: Found in February!
